Adventure Cafe Position - October 2020 - COVID-19

Current Operations:

Adventure Café has reduced its current range of operations due to the crisis, in efforts to ensure our future strength and ability to continue to provide the very best Adventure Challenge Events. Our office is reponding to telephone calls from 10:00 - 15:30 at the current time, and our staff will be delighted to assist, and answer any questions you may have.

The majority of events during 2020 summer season were suspended due to the lockdown and travel restrictions. In the majority of cases, these events have been postponed. Adventure Cafe will communicate with any groups, companies, or individuals who are currently signed up on one of our challenges to discuss the specific arrangements or rescheduling of the event.

We anticipate at the current time that events should be in a stronger position to resume in Spring 2021. Such events are very much dependent upon the forthcoming development of the pandemic, the progress of the vaccine effort, and our collective attitude towards deling with the Virus. We shall keep you informed.

Resumption of Challenges:

At the current time it remains difficult to foresee when European Travel will resume. We anticipate, and our research tends to suggest that some form of overseas travel may be possible by Spring 2021, but of course, this is simply impossible to confirm at the current time.

As further information becomes available we shall continue to liase with groups. Please note, in the interests of participants being able to plan, we have been in communication with all groups to rearrange dates for 2021 season.

Key Responsibilities of Adventure Café towards Participants:

Adventure Cafe, at the current time, is in discussions with all groups to look at alternatives to ensure the operation of events. We are seeking wherever possible to rearrange or postpone events until a date where we can offer you the very best experience possible. If you a suitable date cannot be found at the current time, then Adventure Cafe will issue a credit note for a future challenge. Please note that Adventure Cafe holds a full and comprehensive Financial Protection Policy - compliant under the Package Travel Regulations. In the unlikely event that Adenture Cafe were to cease to trade, your advance payments would be protected (and refunded to you). Please bear with us during this extremely difficult time.

Finally, to all our customers; we wish you health and happiness during this most unsettling of times. Please try and look for the positives, however small they may seem. Please follow government advice, but please do get outside, and please do exercise. It's more vital than ever that we all look after ourselves, and one another.
